These pretty Asiatic "Lollypop" lilies started blooming a few days ago in my garden. After the irises are done blooming the Asiatics bridge the gap until mid-July when the daylilies appear in full force. Lollypops are one of my earliest blooming Asiatic lilies. They grow between 2-3 feet tall and are hardy, dependable perennials. They are also great for cut-flower bouquets. These little darlings came from a plastic package at a big box store many moons ago. I believe $3.96 was the magic price for 4 Lollypop bulbs. They have happily multiplied and more than paid me back.
